Delightful place with friendly staff and a good selection of draught beers. Food was very good but lacked a bit of seasoning. Good menu choices. Certainly would go back for another visit.
This is an excellent pub and busy to. Fantastic service from the young man behind the counter and we just kept adding to our tab with no questions asked. Meals were great and a really good choice. Very clean and tidy and warm on this cold day. Plenty of parking to. Highly recommend coming here with friends, it's worth it
We recently took some of our family to lunch at this pub. The restaurant with its open fireplace and homely feeling was ideal place for all to relax and enjoy on a cold winter's day. The waitress who took our orders is especially to be commended. One of the children with us has to have a gluten free diet and this was handled extremely well making the young girl feel welcome and given excellent choices. Nothing was too much trouble. The food and ambiance was enjoyed by all.
Popped in after a walk on the asdown forest. Had some lovely snacks/drinks. Really friendly staff. Warm and welcoming pub with a really good menu. We have always had very good experiences whenever we visit.
First time eaten here for a while though in recently for a beer, lovely country pub, log fires, good service. Excellent menu choice at reasonable prices. good choice lagers plus 2/3 real ales. Had fish/chips really tasty, though mentioned could have been slightly hotter, a point they said would take on board. A pub always certainly worth calling in.
